A Dedication to his wife, Rachel

Integrated with my curriculum vitae I dedicate you Rachel, my dearest friend, my love, noble soul, concerning your way, your blessed influence in my life.

I already described some of your charactor, education activity in Poland. Now I try to continue your life in Israel. At the very beginning we married. You chose the kibbutz life, the Kibbutz Hakovesh in Kfar Saba. You organized and treated a kindergarten in the kibbutz with outstanding devotion, understanding feeling the child's spirit. You were very loved by them. I was a visitor mostly in Saturdays. Our daughter Arnona was born in August 1935 and we continued our standard life, Rachel in kibbutz and I in Tel-Aviv, but this didn't last a long time.

It was clear for both of us that we must dwell together. You, Rachel decided to join me with our baby Arnona of course and came to me in Kiryat Chaim. Rachel, you started to work as nurse of a baby by family Shulman. Mrs. Shulman saw that you, Rachel are an educated person, so they became good friends.

Further descriptions of his life in Israel.

The physical and mental decline of his wife, Rachel.

A Reflection on the Couple's Legacy
After accidents and griefs I desire to let you know for your satisfaction that Arnona and Arieh supply us with such a spiritual pleasure. Every one of them with his mate, Arnona with Avivi, Arieh with Hila, all of them people of high morality, attribute, which characterizes a person is never in conflict with himself. This attribute is radiating on their children. Our children seeing the very high expenses told me: We are financially organized, we don't need your property in Kiryat Chaim and you should be compressed above your ability. Arnona sold it very good and I have enough for all expenses. I am quite sure that our childrens behavior is gladding you Rachelé. This is my desire, my purpose.
